It doesn’t matter where they play: in a Musical Instruments Museum, 3 meters above the audience or on a former lighthouse in the middle of the Seine in Paris. THE OCEAN inspires their listeners at each single live performance. Since their founding in 2000 the post-hardcoreler experiment with several musical influences. In their songs they combine progressive metal with classical music. For a few shows they still use cello and trombone on stage. In 2010 THE OCEAN published two albums which are connected in lyrics. The second one called “Antropocentric” is much harder than the first one. We will meet them at Rockharz 2012.
