Luck in cans

What is “Luck in cans” anyway?

The project “Luck in cans” has been taking place at the ROCKHARZ Festival since 2013 and is a deposit donation campaign that was launched in collaboration with the Rotaract Club Clausthal-Zellerfeld. This heartfelt campaign aims to support children and youth projects in the region and is now run as a registered non-profit organization.

The Rotaract volunteers have been a constant at the campsite for years and are not only expected there by the metal fans on their tours of the festival grounds, but increasingly it is the visitors themselves who actively approach the helpers and willingly give their empties to the campaign leave behind.

With the “Luck in cans” campaign, almost 350,000 euros have been handed over and donated to regional youth work in recent years. A special thank you goes to all the helpers and partners who make the project possible and, above all, to the ROCKHARZ fans who support us every year with great donations and donate their eagerly collected beverage cans. A total of over 1.3 million deposit cans have now been collected as part of the project.
